I Don't Think the Democratic Party Will be Much Help
With the exception of a couple of individuals, I don't think we can rely upon the Democrats to really fight Trump or the oligarchs like Musk.
Like the GOP, the Democrats main interest is getting reelected. They have no agenda, plan or ideals beyond getting reelected. Oh they posture and pay lip service, but the party isn't really for the working man or woman. It's for people with collage degrees. There is nothing wrong with a collage degree, but there is a reason labor unions look at Dems with wary caution these days.
So, if you are waiting for the Democrats to handle this you are going to have a long wait.
